BLUE CROSS Group Term life insurance provides coverage for a specific period of time. Sometimes purchased to supplement permanent insurance, this Group Term Life Plan provides benefits up to $500,000 -- sixty percent of which can be used as an accelerated benefit before death if you become terminally ill (as defined by the policy). Even if you do not apply, life insurance benefits are available to your spouse, children or even grandchildren.
